Much as I like Lacho you’d have to say that he has probably just had his worst ever season with the Panthers. I don’t know if it’s a lack of confidence or what but he’s not hit anywhere near the same form as he had two or three years ago.

A better season from Lachowicz but he’s still some way away from his peak. To get the best out of him I feel he has to play with better players. Something for Corey Neilson to bare in mind should Lachowicz return.

Similar to Lee for me this season. I don’t actually think this has been his worst season for us, statistically it was better than last season too. Frustrating to watch in and around the net and quite simply he is, or at least should be, better than 11 goals in the 141 games he’s played in the last 2 seasons. Hasn’t found the chemistry with anyone that he had last with Francis and Salters and his production has suffered because of it, however he is fairly responsible at his own end of the ice and is more than a valuable asset on the PK.

Needs a new challenge as he’s seemingly going backwards at the moment. Suffers a brunt of the fans ire as he no doubt has the talent but to me looks like he has no confidence what-so-ever (remember that goal against Hamburg???). Started to pick up when paired with Sarkanis & Betteridge.

Adam Reddish
Yet another unspectacular season, with few notable individual moments. His largest contribution was on the penalty-kill, with little impact away from time spent on the special teams. Seemed to come alive later on during the season when Sarkanis was signed and moved onto his line, with the trio of him, Sarkanis and Betteridge causing opponents problems with their speed and energy. Can’t help but think a new challenge may help invigorate a player who seems to have gone stale over recent years.

Finally, I don’t have to see that tweet anymore from EIHL Stattos – Robert Lachowicz requires 2 goals for 100 in all EIHL competitions. Lacho has made a small improvement on his numbers from last season and enjoyed a sort of ‘veteran status’ on a line with Betteridge and Sarkanis late on in the season, a line which performed very well in it’s short time together and on some nights was our best line. I think he could do with a few more goals on that tally so hopefully the upturn in figures is a trend rather than a blip.
